Type H Back Pressure Valve

H’ BPV, also known as Type H Back Pressure Valves, is a type of check valve installed in tubing hangers to isolate well production. Type H back pressure valves, or Type H BPV, are designed to hold pressure from below and enable fluids to be pumped from above as needed for well-control.

‘H’ BPV is available:

in API tubing sizes from 2” to 6-5/16”
up to 20KSI working pressure
Non-Monogrammed and API Monogrammed
M/C: AA-HH, T/C: P-U, PR2
GBI ‘H’ BPV designed for

Balance pressure at removal from tubing hanger
Corrosion resistance – NACE and API 6A compliant
Enhanced load-bearing – QPQ Nitride
High-pressure seal performance – Viton, HSN, and Nitrile seals
