Description

DEENPU supplies a complete range of replacement parts fully interchangeable with Cameron Type U BOP blowout preventers. The Cameron U BOP is the most widely used ram-type BOP for land, platform and subsea applications worldwide. Like all Cameron preventers, the rams in the U BOP are pressure-energized — wellbore pressure acts on the rams to increase sealing force and maintain the seal in case of hydraulic pressure loss, so seal integrity actually improves with increased wellbore pressure.

All DEENPU replacement parts are dimensionally and functionally interchangeable with genuine Cameron U BOP components. Part numbers are listed below for cross-reference. We supply bodies, intermediate flanges, bonnets, ram assemblies, operating pistons and cylinders, locking screws, and all associated seals, O-rings and softgoods.

Type U BOP Key Features

• Pressure-energized rams — seal integrity improves with wellbore pressure
• Bonnet seal carrier option eliminates high makeup torque on bonnet bolts and nuts
• Hydraulic ram change-out — bonnets open and rams are lifted clear without entering the BOP cavity
• Side outlets to 4-1/16″ (7-1/16″ on 26-3/4″ BOPs) beneath each ram set, studded, open-face flange or clamp hub
• Flanges conform to API 6A and/or 16A; 6BX flanges standard for 10,000/15,000 psi and 5,000 psi 13-5/8″ and larger
• Hydraulic control connections 1″ NPT; Wedgelock connections 1/2″ NPT
• Available in single, double and composite (shear + pipe) configurations
