Type H BPV Retrieving Tool

Description

Installation tools are used to install both Cameron style Type “H” back pressure valves & two way check valves into the tubing hanger. They are designed so that the pin in the tool fits into the slot on the back pressure valve to allow for maximum torque when installing the valve. The other pin allows the tool to pin directly to the polished rod socket in the same fashion as a removal tool. Our installation tool is compatible in all valves from 2” to 6-5/16”.

Removal tools are used to remove both type “H” back pressure valves & two way check valves from the casing hanger. When fully threaded into the valves, our removal tool offsets the piston from the back pressure valve/two way check valve seat. Thus, equalizing pressure. Our removal tools have through holes both parallel and perpendicular to the threads allowing the flow of any residual fluids that may be present. The removal tool pins directly to the polished rod socket for use. We have removal tools in stock for sizes 1-1/4” up to 6-5/16” .
