Product Overview

DEENPU Tubing Hangers are engineered to provide secure, reliable suspension of production tubing within the wellhead assembly. As the primary structural interface between the tubing string and the wellhead, tubing hangers must withstand the full suspended weight of the tubing, contain well pressure, and provide a reliable annular seal — all while allowing for efficient installation and workover operations.

Our product range includes threaded mandrel type hangers (TC1A, TC1A-B, TC1A-EN, TC1A-CH), wrap-around style hangers (TC1W), and BO-2 couplings. Each type is designed for specific completion scenarios, from simple single-string completions to complex multi-zone installations with control lines. How It Works

Tubing hangers serve as the anchor point for the production tubing string at the wellhead. The hanger seats in the tubing head or casing spool bowl, where its external profile mates with the corresponding internal profile in the wellhead component. Once seated, the tubing hanger supports the full weight of the production tubing string hanging below it.

An annulus seal is established between the tubing hanger and the wellhead body. For threaded mandrel type hangers (TC1A series), this seal is a compression-type seal energized by lockdown screws in the upper flange head of the adapter bonnet. The lockdown screws press down on the hanger, compressing the seal against the bowl profile and creating a pressure-tight barrier between the tubing and the annulus.

Once the seal is established, the Christmas tree can be installed on top of the adapter bonnet. The tubing hanger also includes internal preparation for a Type “H” Back Pressure Valve (BPV), allowing the operator to install a BPV before removing the Christmas tree for workover operations. The TC1A-CH variant includes a dedicated control line passage machined through the hanger body, providing a continuous pathway for hydraulic or electrical control lines without compromising the main seal integrity.

The TC1A-EN is a threaded mandrel type hanger with internal Type “H” BPV preparation. It features a reliable compression seal actuated by lockdown screws that controls annulus pressure during Christmas tree installation.

TC1A-CH Tubing Hanger (with Control Line)

The TC1A-CH is a threaded mandrel type hanger with a dedicated control line passage for subsurface safety valve or chemical injection applications. It features the same Type “H” BPV preparation and compression seal system as the TC1A-EN.

TC1W Wrap-Around Tubing Hanger

The TC1W is a slick joint, wrap-around tubing hanger designed for use with BO-2 coupling and B1 or B2P adapter bonnets. The seal between the pipe and hanger is obtained by energizing the lockdown screws in the upper flange head.

BO-2 Coupling

The BO-2 coupling is used in conjunction with the BO-2 tubing head adapter and the TC-1W tubing hanger. It is a one-piece, externally threaded component with an ACME thread that provides internal top and bottom threads for completions that require string manipulation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between TC1A-EN and TC1A-CH?
Both are threaded mandrel type hangers with Type “H” BPV preparation. The key difference is that TC1A-CH includes a dedicated control line passage machined through the hanger body, allowing for subsurface safety valve (SSSV) control lines, chemical injection lines, or electrical conduit without compromising the main annular seal. TC1A-EN does not have a control line passage and is used for standard single-string completions without subsurface control requirements.

When should I use a TC1W wrap-around hanger?

What Type “H” BPV preparation means?
Type “H” BPV (Back Pressure Valve) preparation refers to an internal profile machined into the tubing hanger that accepts a standard Type “H” back pressure valve. This allows operators to install a BPV when the Christmas tree needs to be removed for workover operations, preventing well flow during tree removal. The preparation includes the precision-machined seating profile and locking mechanism receptacle per API specifications.

Is the BO-2 coupling compatible with all adapter bonnets?
The BO-2 coupling is specifically designed for use with the BO-2 adapter bonnet and TC-1W tubing hanger as an integrated assembly. It is not compatible with B2P, B1, or TC-series adapter bonnets which use different tubing hanger interfaces.
