Product Overview

DEENPU Pressure Gauges are precision instruments designed for reliable pressure measurement in high-pressure well service, drilling, and production applications. Featuring robust 304 stainless steel cases with blow-out filling plugs and 304 SS bayonet ring bezels, our gauges are built to withstand the vibration, shock, and harsh environmental conditions encountered in oilfield operations.

The liquid-filled (glycerin) execution dampens pointer flutter caused by pressure pulsation and vibration, providing steady, readable pressure readings even in the most demanding pump and wellhead applications. The 316 stainless steel Bourdon tube and connector provide excellent corrosion resistance to process fluids, while the polycarbonate window offers high impact resistance and clarity.

DEENPU offers both 2 inch and 4 inch gauge sizes: the 2 inch gauge is available in 3,000 and 5,000 PSI ranges with 1/4 inch NPT bottom connection (1.6% accuracy), ideal for compact wellhead valve and manifold installations. The 4 inch gauge covers a wider range from 600 to 10,000 PSI with 1/2 inch NPT bottom connection (1.0% accuracy), suitable for pump monitoring, test stands, and production equipment.

Why are the gauges liquid filled? ▼
DEENPU pressure gauges are glycerin filled to dampen pointer flutter caused by vibration and pressure pulsation. What is the difference between 2 inch and 4 inch gauges? ▼
The 2 inch gauge is compact (0.43 lbs) with 1.6% accuracy and 1/4 inch NPT connection, ideal for space-constrained valve and manifold installations. The 4 inch gauge offers better readability with 1.0% accuracy, 1/2 inch NPT connection, and a wider pressure range (600-10,000 PSI), suitable for pump monitoring and test applications.
What is the blow-out filling plug? ▼
The blow-out filling plug is a safety feature built into the 304 SS case. If excessive internal pressure builds up inside the gauge case from thermal expansion of the glycerin fill, the plug safely releases the pressure rather than allowing the window to shatter. This protects personnel from flying debris.
What materials are used for corrosion resistance? ▼
The Bourdon tube and connector are both 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance to process fluids including mild acids, chlorides, and sour gas. The case and bezel are 304 stainless steel for durability in corrosive atmospheric conditions.
Can these gauges be used on mud pumps? ▼
Yes, DEENPU liquid-filled gauges are excellent for mud pump applications. The glycerin fill dampens the severe vibration and pulsation typical of reciprocating pump discharge, while the stainless steel construction withstands the corrosive drilling fluid environment. We recommend the 4 inch gauge for pump discharge.
